Comments
Ideal for a scientist who has knowledge of Synthetic Aperture
Radar (SAR) or High Resolution Optical instruments and data processing.

Objective
We are looking for a scientist who would be able to join our
existing team responsible for Definition and Implementation of Sensor
Performance, Products and Algorithms (SPPA) Activities for an ESA Earth
Observation mission.

Responsibilities / Duties
The scientist will carry out Data Processing Quality Control
activities :
* Near real time quality checks
* Processing of data for products
* Identification of product anomalies
* Longer-term performance and quality monitoring
* Monitoring of product calibration

Qualifications / Experience
University degree in a relevant subject and a previous
experience of Earth observation missions.
Essential Skills
* Good knowledge of instrument principles and theory
* Expertise and understanding of Earth observation data
* Software skills for image processing

Desirable Skills
Knowledge of EO instruments including design and development.
Qualities
Must be a team player but be able to work with minimum
supervision.
